My Book

About Me

My name is Morgan Ricks and I'm a law professor at Vanderbilt. My current scholarship focuses mostly on financial regulation. During 2009-10 I was a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Treasury Department, where I worked on financial stability initiatives and financial regulation. Before that, I was a risk-arbitrage trader at Citadel; an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Group at Merrill Lynch; and a mergers and acquisitions lawyer at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
